Websites and software

Your shopfront, and your tools

We build the websites designed to make you findable on Google, and the software made to fit your business day to day. Two offers, a single point of contact.

Response within 24 hours, free quote

Our two offers

What we build

One works to make you findable, the other to save you time. Take either, or both.

  • Be found

    Website

A single page or a full site: written, designed, published and worked on for local search in your area. If you have no visual identity yet, brand guidelines and logo design are available as options.

    From 890 € excl. VAT

delivered in 3 weeks once we have your information

    See what is included

  • Be equipped

    Custom software

The tool your business is missing: job tracking, scheduling, quotes, a client base. Written around the way you work rather than the other way round. An internal tool or a service reachable online, for companies and individuals alike.

    Quoted

    after a scoping session

    Talk it through

What the figures say

Why it matters

Four measured figures, valid wherever we work. Each with its source: the link opens the study itself, not an article summarising it.

Website design and build

What’s included

One price, all in. Anything you add is priced up front, never sprung on you halfway through.

  • Copywriting

We write your copy from a conversation with you. You read it over, we adjust. There is no blank page for you to fill in.

  • Local search

Titles, description, structured data and keywords anchored to your town, worked on for the search “your trade + your town”. The Google Business Profile, the listing that appears on the map, is a separate option.

  • Mobile version

The page is designed for the phone first, where many of your visitors arrive, then opened out for the desktop.

  • Domain name and hosting

Included for the first year, along with the security certificate. The domain is registered in your name: it belongs to you.

  • 30 days of changes

Once the page is live, your changes are covered for thirty days: text, opening hours, prices, photos.

Delivered in 3 weeks from the day we receive your information and your photos.

Custom software

The tool, and what it costs

Software is not sold at a fixed price on a web page. Here is what we build, how we price it and where the price stops.

  • What kind of tool

Tools that replace a spreadsheet grown too large, or three notebooks that do not talk to each other. Job tracking, team scheduling, quotes and invoices, a client base, event entries, stock tracking. Always something you already do, but that costs you time every week.

  • In what form

Either an internal tool, installed on your premises, that your team opens from the office. Or a service reachable online, with an account and a password, that you open from anywhere and that your clients can sometimes use themselves. The choice is made at the scoping stage, depending on who needs to use it and from where.

  • Scoping first

Before any quote, we spend half a day looking at how you work today. Out of it comes a document listing what the tool will have to do, in order of importance, and what it will not do. That document is what gets quoted, not an idea. Nothing starts before you have approved it.

  • Then in stages

Development moves in batches, each one delivered and usable. You see the tool working before it is finished, and you correct course while there is still time. A project cut into pieces can be put right; a project delivered in one block after six months, far less so.

  • What the price covers

The quote says what is included and what is not: migrating your existing data, hosting, third-party service licences, training your team, maintenance once the tool is in service. Each of those lines is either priced or explicitly ruled out. None of them turns up halfway through.

  • What we do not promise

A custom tool takes time on your side too: answering questions, trying out what we deliver, saying what does not work. We commit to the work and to the method, not to a commercial result. And if the need changes along the way, we say so and requote before going further.

Quoted after scoping because a job-tracking tool for three people and an online service open to your clients do not cost the same, and a figure given before we have looked would be a figure made up.

The website, step by step

How it works

Three weeks from the day we receive your information to the page going live. There is nothing to install and no account to set up.

  1. A one-hour conversation

We talk about your business, your customers and what they are looking for. That is where the copy comes from: you have nothing to write. Week 1

  2. A first version to read over

You get the full page, with the text and photos in place. You correct it and we adjust, as many times as it takes before the page goes live. Week 2

  3. Going live and follow-up

We put the page live on the date agreed. Your changes stay covered for thirty days. Week 3

Options

Priced in advance. You know what an extra costs before you ask for it, never after.

  • Google Business Profile Setting up or taking over the listing that appears on the map: categories, opening hours, photos, area served. It is what carries weight in the local results when someone searches “your trade + your town”. + 290 € excl. VAT
  • Extra page Per page, 800 to 1,000 words written and optimised for local search. Route, programme, map, rules: each one treated like the first. + 290 € excl. VAT
  • Version in another language Per translated page. Translation, layout and language tags so that Google serves the right version. + 190 € excl. VAT
  • Brand guidelines Built on your existing logo, supplied as a vector file: a palette of 4 to 5 colours with HEX, RGB and CMYK codes, two paired typefaces, colour, mono and reversed versions of the logo, usage rules. One proposal, two rounds of changes and a 6-page PDF guide. Redrawing or vectorising the logo and paid font licences are not included. + 490 € excl. VAT
  • Visual identity, logo included A one-hour call, two logo directions, typographic or simple combination mark, and two rounds of changes on the chosen one. Main logo and one variant, then the brand guidelines described above, with one round of changes. Transfer of rights set out in the quote; trademark searches and registration are not included. + 890 € excl. VAT

For events

Road races, trail races, tournaments. What turns a one-page website into a tool for running the event.

  • Online entries and payment A HelloAsso or Weezevent campaign set up with you: prices, categories, event fields, closing dates. Payment tested end to end, the form linked to your page, start list export. HelloAsso is free for clubs and associations. + 190 € excl. VAT
  • Results page The times published the day after the race. Every entrant comes looking for them: it is the busiest day of your year. + 190 € excl. VAT

Yearly services

Optional, and you can stop them at any time. Either way, your domain name and your content stay yours.

  • Domain name and hosting From the second year onwards: domain renewal, hosting, security certificate and backups. 120 € excl. VAT / year
  • Looking after your Google listing One pass each quarter: photos, seasonal opening hours, contact details and categories. A listing kept up to date gives accurate information and regular signs of activity; one left alone gives neither. Replying to reviews stays with you. 290 € excl. VAT / year
  • Changes package Three hours of changes spread across the year, beyond the 30 days included: text, prices, photos, opening hours. 290 € excl. VAT / year
  • Update for the next edition Dates, prices and photos brought up to date from one year to the next, without starting from scratch. 390 € excl. VAT / edition

Prices exclude VAT. [VAT: state “VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the Code général des impôts (the French general tax code)” if you are under the small-business exemption, otherwise “VAT at 20% on top”] Renewing the domain and hosting is at your expense from the second year onwards.

Our work

Three examples, from mock-up to price

Three demonstration projects, built to show what we deliver and what it costs. The association, businesses, names and phone numbers are fictitious; the prices are taken straight from our price list. The mock-ups are in French.

  • Demonstration example

    Trail de Kerlan (demonstration example)

A club-run trail race with a few hundred runners, in Ille-et-Vilaine, Brittany.

Demonstration mock-up of the Trail de Kerlan website: the headline “Les landes, ou rien”, the three distances (22 and 11 km runs with their elevation gain, plus an 8 km walk), a sign-up button, then the route, access, aid stations and four partner slots.

    What is delivered

    • The three formats readable from the first screen, with the elevation gain for the two races.
    • Route, access, aid stations: the information a runner looks for before signing up.
    • A dedicated partners page, online all year round.
    • A results page, published the day after the race.
    • Local search for “trail + town”, mobile version, domain in the club’s name.

    The design approach

Ink and gorse, condensed capitals: the vocabulary of endurance sport. Yellow is used only for registration and results, the only two actions on the page.

    Price

    The website
    890 € excl. VAT
    Partners page
    + 290 € excl. VAT
    Results page
    + 190 € excl. VAT
    Stated turnaround
    3 weeks

The four partner slots are left empty on purpose: they show the space a sponsor gets.

  • Demonstration example

    Bertin Plomberie (demonstration example)

A plumber with two employees on the outskirts of Rennes, who relies on word of mouth.

Demonstration mock-up of the Bertin Plomberie website: the headline “Plombier chauffagiste à Châteaugiron”, a rapid call-out panel with its timeframes, four services, the service area and the business listing.

    What is delivered

    • The trade and the town in the first line of the page: that is what Google reads.
    • The phone number always visible, and a stated timeframe on every promise.
    • Four services described in detail, and a dedicated page for each main town.
    • Google Business Profile completed: opening hours, services, photos, link.
    • Mobile version, fast loading, domain in the business’s name.

    The design approach

Trustworthy blue, amber for everything that prompts a call, broad and solid lettering. The opposite of the trail: here the aim is not emotion, it is to get the phone ringing.

    Price

    The website
    890 € excl. VAT
    Google Business Profile
    + 290 € excl. VAT
    Page per town
    + 290 € excl. VAT each
    Stated turnaround
    3 weeks

The business, its name and its phone number are fictitious.

  • Demonstration example

    Job tracking (demonstration example)

An eight-person service business that keeps its schedule in a shared spreadsheet.

Demonstration tool “Atelier”: the table of this week’s four jobs with their customer, team and status, and three figures: one entry, zero duplicate files, four screens to learn.

    What is delivered

    • Four screens: this week’s jobs, team schedule, quotes, client base.
    • Entered once, the information shows up everywhere.
    • A status for each job, readable on a phone, on site.
    • Built around the way they work: no feature they don’t use.

    The design approach

Slate and sage, technical typefaces, deliberately dense information. A work tool is not trying to be beautiful: it is trying to be read at a glance between one job and the next.

    How it is priced

Half a day of scoping: we look at how the business works, and the result is a document stating what the tool will do and what it will not. That document is what gets quoted, never an idea. Then delivery in usable stages.

Common questions

What people ask us most

A straight answer before you even write to us. If your question isn’t here, it deserves to be. Ask it.

  • Who owns the website once it is delivered?

You do, entirely. The domain name is registered in your name, not ours, and the site files are handed over to you.

If you ever want to go elsewhere, you take everything with you. We keep no keys that would tie you to us.

  • What do I need to provide?

Your practical details (address, opening hours, prices, how to reach you) and a dozen or so photos if you have them.

The copy is our job: it comes out of the one-hour conversation. You read it over and correct it, you don’t write it.

  • Do you guarantee first place on Google?

No. And be wary of anyone who promises it: nobody controls Google’s rankings.

What we do guarantee is the work that makes a page findable: a structure search engines can read, keywords anchored to your town, accurate structured data and a page that loads quickly. The rest comes down to your local competition and to time.

  • What if I want to change something in six months?

Changes in the thirty days after the page goes live are included: opening hours, prices, text, photos.

After that, you either ask for a one-off change, quoted before any work starts, or take the yearly package of three hours of changes, priced above. Nothing is sprung on you later.

  • How does payment work?

A 50% deposit on order, the balance when the page goes live. By bank transfer, on invoice.

Until the balance is settled, the page stays online: we don’t take it down to force your hand.
